Siltation is a major environmental threat in India, where the accumulation of silt reduces the water-holding capacity of lakes and dams, making water undrinkable for livestock and insufficient for irrigation. Relfor's desilting projects involve removing this silt and depositing it on local farmlands to enhance soil fertility.

Used 4 poclains and 250 tractors/trucks daily for 1 month.
Removed 2,000 cu. mtr of silt; increased water capacity to 20 lakh liters.

Soil extraction near the Someshwar Temple over 2 months.
Removed 15,000 brass of soil; fertilized 90 acres for 53 farmers.

10,000 tractor loads of silt removed and spread over agricultural lands.

41-day intensive soil extraction project.
8,000 brass of soil removed; 60 acres improved for 40 farmers.
By rejuvenating these water bodies, we aren't just conserving water—we are restoring the primary livelihood of thousands of farmers and ensuring environmental resilience for generations to come.
